Job Title: EKG Technologist (Monitor Tech) – Night Shift

Setting: Acute Care | Unit: Telemetry

Shift: 12-Hour Days & Nights | Weekends & Holidays as needed

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Assignment Length: 4 Weeks

What You Need to Bring:

2+ years of recent Monitor Tech experience

BLS certification (AHA only)

Certified EKG Technician (CET) via AAH (must be official—on-the-job training doesn’t cut it)

Solid Cerner experience (don’t forget to mention your last use!)

Cool head + fast fingers during those “uh-oh” moments

Willingness to float within your skillset if needed

What You’ll Be Doing:

Monitoring up to 32 patients via telemetry

Interpreting cardiac rhythms like a pro

Notifying nurses and providers of abnormal EKGs faster than a caffeine-fueled heartbeat

Documenting in Cerner like the tech-savvy wizard you are

Collaborating with clinical staff and being the unsung hero behind the screen
