Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Walnut Creek, CA 94595

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days

Hourly Pay: $50 to $55 (W2)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Walnut Creek, CA, for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Assessment and Care:

   • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to diagnose movement dysfunction.
   • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit physical disabilities.

2. Treatment Implementation:

   • Utilize various physical therapy techniques and modalities, such as exercises, manual therapy, and equipment-assisted therapy, to aid patient recovery.
   • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

3. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
   • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide updates on patient progress.

4. Education and Training:

   • Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and strategies to manage their conditions.
   • Provide training to support staff and contribute to the professional development of team members.

5. Compliance and Safety:

   • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to physical therapy practice.
   • Promote a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Physical Therapist license.
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
