•       Patient Ratios – maximum 6:1

•       EMR – meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

•        Acute med/surg/tele experience 2+ years within the last year

•       Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

•        2+ years neurosurgery/ortho nursing experience

•        

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

•         Care of med/surg/tele ortho and neurosurgery patients

•        Standard nursing skills: IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance; medication administration; communication with all members of care team; documentation in EHR
