Job Title: Occupational Therapist (LTC)
Location: Tulsa, OK, 74136
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days
Hourly Pay Rate: $45 to $50 hourly on W2
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in a long-term care facility in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals achieve their highest level of independence and improve their quality of life through personalized therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ physical and mental abilities to determine the appropriate therapeutic treatment plan.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ daily living skills and functional capabilities.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment training, to help patients achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued progress.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, respecting their dignity and individuality.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
