Position: RN-Psych
Facility: MiraVista Behavioral Health Center
Location: Holyoke, MA 01040
Shift: 40 hrs/week
Contract: 13 weeks (possible extension)
Pay Details:
Hourly Rate (W2): $38/hr
Non-Taxable Stipend: $1380 weekly
Weekly Gross Pay: $2900
Charting System: Home Care Home Base
Job Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in psychiatry, you will:
Deliver comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to patients in psychiatric and behavioral health settings.
Maintain accurate documentation and efficiently utilize the Home Care Home Base charting system.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans.
Create a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
Float between units as needed and take charge of the unit when required.
Participate in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and restraint reduction strategies.
Licensure: Active RN license in the State of Massachusetts.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience with adult and adolescent inpatient populations.
Familiarity with Home Care Home Base charting system is a plus.
Certifications: Current CPR certification; experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques preferred.
Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage stressful situations with professionalism and poise.
