Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Fullerton, CA 92835

Position Type: Contract

Shift: Days

Duration: 13 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36

Pay Rate: $55 to $60 per hour (W2)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Fullerton, CA, for a 13-week contract position. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients to determine functional status and identify areas needing physical therapy.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and function.
• Use therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to address patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for continued rehabilitation.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to all applicable regulations, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Current California Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• Experience: Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team; proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
