Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Position

Location: Midland, TX

Hourly Pay Rate: $60/hr

Shifts: Day

Contract Duration: 3 Months

Certifications Required:

• BLS by AHA

Minimum Experience: 1 year

Job Description:

United Health Care Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery for an opportunity in Midland, Texas. This is a 3-month contract position offering a competitive hourly pay rate of $60.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process.
• Monitor and assess the mother and fetus to identify any signs of distress or complications.
• Administer medications and perform interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist with labor induction, epidurals, and cesarean sections as needed.
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding the labor and delivery process.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN in a Labor and Delivery unit.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Ability to work day shifts.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and provide high-quality care in high-pressure situations.
