Job Description
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: El campo, TX
Pay Scale: $42.06-46.22 *rates are negotiable
Shift: 8:00AM to 4:30PM (M-F but flexible No weekend rotation El Campo is about 70 miles from Houston, we can accommodate any schedule)
Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose language and swallowing disorders (yes, we love talking and eating too!).

Collaborate with family members, counselors, teachers, psychologists, doctors, and other professionals to create holistic treatments (we play well with others).

Combine traditional therapies with innovative techniques (think of it as a therapy cocktail).

Provide support and advice to patients, their caregivers, and family (we're basically life coaches with a focus on speech).

Keep detailed notes on patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed (because sometimes Plan A becomes Plan B, C, or D).

Motivate patients, even when progress is slow (think of it as being their speech cheerleader).

Maintain patient databases and meticulously update medical records (accuracy is our middle name).

Stay updated on developments in speech language pathology and the broader medical field (always learning, never boring).
Requirements:

Master’s degree in speech language pathology, speech therapy, or equivalent.

Experience with specific disorders and age groups is a plus (variety is the spice of life).

A relevant license and certification (we like it official).
