Job Description
Unit Profile
The purpose of a unit profile is to provide an exceptional screenshot of the unit. Profiles should include unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. General Information
Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds : 24
- Patient Ratios : 3-4:1 pre/post; and 1:1 intraprocedural
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : CNA support in both pre/post areas
- Type of equipment : IV Pumps. Specialty Beds, bedside monitors, telemetry boxes
- Documentation system: Cerner
- Scheduling requirements: 4 10 hour shifts per week; on call 4-5 weekday nights per 6 week schedule, and every 10-11th weekend.
- Floating policy: We do not float. We do flex based on volume.
- Patient Experience requirements: Critical care and/or previous procedural experience (IR preferred)
Hospital Specifics-
- Certifications: ACLS/PALS
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set: Experience with all cardiac diagnosis, emphasis on vascular patients, IVDA, chest tubes, CVA
Must have: ICU or ED experience; would prefer previous IR experience, moderate sedation experience
Advanced skills needed: ACLS/PALS
Procedures performed on unit: IR, Invasive CT, and Invasive Ultrasound cases
Certifications Required: ACLS/PALS
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
- Green hospital issued scrubs
