Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Outpatient

Location: San Leandro, CA 94578

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day Shift

Pay: $60 to $65 hourly on W2

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient clinic in San Leandro, CA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients achieve their functional goals through personalized therapy programs. As an Occupational Therapist in our facility, you will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to enhance their daily living skills and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and occupational needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities, including fine motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs to support continued progress.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
  • Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapist License.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and rehabilitation techniques.
