13wks, days, 8 hours (Standard Hours 0630-1500; although, hours vary based on operation needs. So they may work from 1000-1800 or 0800-1600), RN, ACLS, BLS, call required (days vary based on operation need (cath lab and EP experience; preferred)

Unit Profiles:The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit.  Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff.   Below you will find a data collection tool to help you identify essential data needed to complete your profile.   Data Collection:Unit Information:  Location: Building: Las PalmasFloor: 2nd Order Detail:Facility Department Number: 746Discipline: Cath Lab (Cardiovascular Services)Quantity: Target Start Date: Immediately Shift: Days; 0630-1530Call Requirements: Yes; not a specific number of days/weekends but it is distributed evenly throughout staff RN and CVT.Weekends: On-call team emergent casesGeneral InformationTell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 3 operating cath lab rooms (2 are EP compatible) Number of Staff – Type of staff:Day Shift; 2 RN’s and 2 CV techs per case unless anesthesia or non-invasive. Patient Ratios – N/AType of equipment – Cath labEMR – MeditechPermanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) – YesTypical hiring profileSkill Set Most recruited for:  (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.Cath Lab experience   Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.  RCIS or Cardiovascular Nurse certification List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   Cath, PCI, EP (a-fib), Watchmen, TAVR, INARI, any devices (PPM, ICD ect), impella. Best personality Fit: Team oriented, hardworking, face paced environment.  Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.Scrub Color - Royal blue or black Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.  Awards/Recognition:  Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, reigning annual chili cook-off winners, etc.   2 facility STS, biggest structural volume in El Paso. 50 TAVRSGreat outcomes, very low PCI mortality Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment:  Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc.  *Remember it is a very competitive market any information you can provide will help attract talent.
