Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Facility: CHI Mercy Health Mercy Medical Center

Location: Roseburg, OR, 97471

Experience Required: 2+ years

Shift: Night Shift (12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $2722 Weekly gross

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Stable

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) for a 13-week contract in Roseburg, OR. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a labor and delivery setting and be comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced maternity unit. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated L&D RN to gain valuable experience while earning competitive pay.

Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery

Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vital signs, and labor progression

Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and obstetric emergencies

Administer medications, IV fluids, and epidurals as ordered

Educate and support expectant mothers and families throughout the birthing process

Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and positive patient outcomes

Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards

License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in OR or compact state eligibility

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred

Stable – Required

Skills: Strong critical thinking, fetal monitoring interpretation, emergency response, and patient education

Charting System: EPIC
