Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Tech
Location: Lima, OH
Job Type: Permanent
Shifts: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Salary: $28.48/hour minimum (dependent upon experience)
- Shift Differentials:
- Nights (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM): $4.00/hour
- Evening (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM): $1.50/hour
- Weekends: $2.00/hour
Sign-On Bonus:
- $15,000 Sign-On Bonus: Requires a 2-year commitment.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team in Lima, OH. This is an urgent position offering a highly competitive salary and sign-on bonus for candidates who are committed to excellence in patient care. The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as per physician orders, ensuring the highest quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, following all safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and determine the best diagnostic approach.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures.
- Adhere to all regulatory and hospital policies, including patient privacy and radiation safety.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated with advancements in CT imaging technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
- Valid Ohio state license to practice as a CT Technologist.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and the ability to identify pathology on CT images.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
