RN Hospice Position - Owosso, MI

Salary: $31.91/hour - $45.94/hour

Shift: Day

Position Type: Permanent

Certification Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice care team in Owosso, MI. This permanent position requires a minimum of two years of experience in hospice care and a current BLS certification by the American Heart Association. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care during the day shift.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive hospice care to patients in their homes or hospice facilities.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding end-of-life care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in hospice care.
• Current BLS certification by AHA.
• Valid RN license for the state of Michigan.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Empathy and dedication to providing compassionate care.
