  • Position: Pharmacist
  • Location: Redding, CA 96001
  • Start Date:  3rd Feb 2025
  • Employment Type: 13 weeks Contract
  • Shift:  Nights- 8x5 hours per week EOW
  • Pay: $95/hour
  • Gross Weekly: $3,500/week
  • Expected Hours: 40per week

   Unit Profiles:

  • Charting System: Cerner
  • Trauma Level: 2
  • Unit Pharmacy
  • # beds 267 inpatient + 100 outpatients
  • Ratios 2:1 tech to pharmacist (CA Law)
  • EMR Cerner with Omnicell for dispensing cabinets
  • Charge Nurse/Nurse Aides/Tele/Vents:-- NA
  • Weekend Requirement Yes
  • Holidays Yes
  • Scrub Color Professional White coat
  • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house Yes
  • IV Team Sterile compounding experience desired
  • RT 24/7 Yes
  • Pharmacy 24/7 Yes
  • Shifts Days, Eves, Nights
  •  Floating No
  • Floor specific orientation Yes
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients NICU, Peds, adults, geriatric, oncology
  • Additional Notes .  .  No new grads please. 

  Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

  • Must have a California Pharmacist license
  • Pharmacy residency and/or BCPS desired
  • Experience in Oncology infusion centers a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Certs BLS and ACLS required
