Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Ambulatory Care unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring outpatient services, ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to handle diverse patient needs, and a commitment to patient education and support.
Duties
- Monitor and assess the condition of patients in the Ambulatory Care unit.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications, perform interventions, and manage patient care as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, medications, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Meditech.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Ambulatory Care or similar outpatient setting.
- Experience with pre-operative and post-operative patient management preferred.
Requirements
- Active CA State RN license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
