Job Description
Position: Registered Nurse - Psychiatric
Location: La Palma, CA, 90623
Pay scale: $51 tio $56
Shift: Day Shift
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in psychiatric settings, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
- Administer psychiatric medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and assess patients for changes in mental health status.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups and individual counseling sessions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions and care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
