• Number of Beds -30
• Number of Staff – 6-7
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – typically 6 RN, 1 charge, 2 pca. Current 8 RN 2 PCA Covid unit
  • Night Shift – typically 6 RN, 2 pca, Current 8 RN 2 PCA Covid unit
• Patient Ratios – 5/1 regular, 4/1 Covid
• Type of equipment – meditech, pyxis, neuron for vitals.
• EMR -Meditech

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

•   Post care of Cath lab, EP lab patients.
•  Covid patients in conjunction with tele patients (post cath, ablations, ICU downgrades, etc)

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• BLS, ACLS

Floating Area(s):

• Tele Ortho, Rehab, ICU (tele type pts. only)

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color/Attire -  Navy Blue for regular patient care. Hospital provided royal blue for Covid assignment.

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

• Entirety of unit is currently setup for Covid patients.

Weekends and On call(if any)

• Typically work rotating weekends. Unit balance preferred.
