Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: San Francisco, CA 94112
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days
Hourly Pay (W2): $48 to $52
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in San Francisco, CA, for a 13-week assignment. This role involves providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients to improve their physical capabilities and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a patient-centric approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy programs to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and prevent or reduce physical disabilities.
- Utilize a variety of techniques including exercises, manual therapy, and equipment to facilitate patient rehabilitation.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, exercises, and other self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with the latest research and developments in physical therapy.
Requirements:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- BLS certification is required.
