Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Stockton, CA 95207

Shift: Day Shift

Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36

Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay: $55 to $60 hourly on W2

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Stockton, CA, for a 13-week assignment. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, providing high-quality care to patients with a variety of needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients’ physical conditions to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement physical therapy programs to improve patient mobility, alleviate pain, and increase strength and coordination.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families about the recovery process, exercises, and at-home care.
• Document patient progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Adjust treatments as necessary to achieve maximum patient benefit and recovery.
• Use specialized equipment and techniques to administer therapy.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and care plans.

Requirements:

• Valid California Physical Therapist license.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to adapt to various patient needs and settings.
