•       Number of Beds - 304

•       Number of Staff – 1500

•       Shift for the Traveler: Conventional 40 hour week

•       Type of staff:

o   Day Shift – 5 PTs, 2 PTAs

o   Night Shift – n/a

•       Patient Ratios 10-14 patients/day

•       Type of equipment – Conventional PT equipment.  Tilt tables, parallel bars, walkers, ex equipment

•       EMR – Meditech

•       On Call Requirements n/a

•       Weekend Requirements: n/a

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

•       Idaho License

•       Experience treating acute hospital patients including trauma, stroke, debility, orthopedics

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

•        Burn experience nice to have, but not necessary, only if desired

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

•       Gait training therapeutic exercise, transfers, general mobility training and education 

•        Typical acute care in large reginal medical center

Best personality Fit:

•        Confident, gets along well with a multidisciplinary team (OTs and STs), comfortable communicating with providers and case managers and nurses, tolerant of daily change, flexible.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

•       Licensure in Idaho, no certifications necessary

Floating Area(s):

•       ICU, General Orthopedics, Debility floors.

Dress Code:

•       Scrub Color/Attire -  Hunter/Forest green scrubs
