Job Description

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Med Surg

Location: Broken Arrow, OK

Pay Scale: $1,950 - $2,050 per week

Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit, including monitoring vitals and administering medications.
• Assist in patient assessments and contribute to care planning under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
• Perform wound care, IV insertion, and other necessary nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, treatments, and post-discharge instructions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an LPN in Med Surg (required).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• IV certification (required).
• Active LPN license in Oklahoma or compact state (required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
