Position: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: 

El Paso, TX 79902

Start Date: 1/19/2025

Employment Type: Contract

Shift: Days

Pay: $85.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 per week

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Preparation and Monitoring: Assist with the preparation of patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and monitor them throughout.
2. Assist in Procedures: Support the cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional catheterizations.
3. Documentation: Accurately document patient information, procedural data, and outcomes.
4. Patient Education: Educate patients and families on the procedure, expected recovery, and post-procedural care.
5. Sterilization and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is sterilized and ready for use, maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or similar setting.
• Knowledge of invasive cardiology procedures and equipment.
• ACLS certification required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
