Department:Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography) General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.)BLS, MUST have WA LICENSE Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT, CT How many scanners/rooms does this department have?1 CT, 1 X-RAY, 1 PORTABLE Will they have to float/cover any other areas?CT and General X-Ray Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job DutiesCT: W/WO Contrast Head, Spine, Abdomen, Pelvis, CTA PE, Runoff, Extremeties, General XRAY: Chest, PICC line placement, Tube Placement, Trauma- FX Extremeties Experience or 'Must have' skillsAbiliy to work independently as Graveyard CT/Xray tech is the only staff member in the department between 11pm-7am Average # of scans/studies per dayGraveyard averages between 2-6 CT scans per night and 1-4 xrays per night depending on the night EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC and McKesson PACS Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens)Toshiba 64 Slice CT Scanner, Carestream xray room (very user friendly) Brand new GE Portable Xray Radiology Supervisor or Lead TechAdrienne Turner - Manager, Keith Stoner CT Lead Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?No Radiologist in-house?Mon, Wed, Fri 8am-5pm mostly otherwise it's TRA Telerad Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department)Yes - need to be able to start an IV if the one from the ED does not look good and they need to start another. There is not an RN in DI to do that for them. Shifts & SchedulingTuesday through Friday - 3p-1130p Weekend Requirement Holiday RequirementIf the holiday falls on your shift, you work it Call or Standby requirement?
