Unit Specifics:

•         Number of Beds : 16

•         Patient Ratios : 2:1

•         Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : tech for unit

•         Type of equipment : GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis med dispense, drager vents

•         Documentation system: Meditech

•         Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend

•         Floating policy: In rotation with full time staff and other travelers

•         Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, completion of communication board, medication teaching

Hospital Specifics-

•         Certifications: Trauma III

Requested Skill Set:

Must have: positive attitude, teamwork, problem solving

Advanced skills needed: ventilator/sedation management, medication titration

Procedures performed on unit:  trach placement, bronchoscopy, cardioversion

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS

Dress Code: (Required uniform)

•          Charcoal gray scrubs
