Unit Specifics:
• Number of Beds: 8
• Patient Ratios: typical ratio 2-3 patients/RN: 4:1 max as unit only allows 8 patients
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Unit Secretary present at Children's entrance for visitor check-in; Nurse externs/PCTs as unit need
• Type of equipment: Alaris pumps
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: Full time hours, Three 12-hour shifts per week; Weekend requirements; Holiday requirements as necessary
• On Call Requirements: None
• Floating policy: Women’s and Children’s Service Lines; NICU when low census in Pediatrics
