Job Description: Physical Therapist (Outpatient)

Location: Berlin, NH 03570

Job Type: Permanent

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8-hour days, 40 hours/week

Salary Range: Depending on years of experience, to be negotiated at interview/offer

Hourly Range: $31.77 - $47.66

Annual Salary Range: $66,081.60 - $99,132.80

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic in Berlin, NH. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve mobility through personalized therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to diagnose functional issues.
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans that outline goals and therapeutic strategies.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Administer various physical therapy techniques, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle changes to aid in recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Progress Monitoring: Track and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Compliance: Ensure all treatments and procedures comply with regulatory standards and clinic policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Hampshire.
• Experience: Prior experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in therapeutic techniques.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and supporting patients.
