Job Description
If you are an experienced and compassionate Labor and delivery RN, come spend the summer in Vermont. NVRH's updated Birth Center is looking for a skilled, dedicated nurse like you to provide exceptional care in our state-of-the-art facility. At NVRH Birth Center, we pride ourselves on delivering excellence. Our spacious 6-bed unit hosts an average of 200 births annually. As an integral team member, you will use excellent communication skills to deliver outstanding patient care. You will be responsible for conducting thorough initial and ongoing assessments tailored to each patient's unique needs. Furthermore, you will employ your expertise to implement appropriate interventions in collaboration with the patient and the healthcare team. Located in the heart of Vermont's historic Northeast Kingdom, NVRH allows you to reside in a region renowned for its unspoiled natural beauty and year-round recreational activities. As a not-for-profit, independent hospital, we are deeply committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services to our community. Our offerings encompass primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and round-the-clock emergency services staffed by dedicated physicians. To join our team, candidates must hold a current VT or multi-state RN License and have completed the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Continuing Education Program (PCEP) and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certifications are preferred and a minimum of 3 years of experience in obstetrics is required. We understand the importance of a seamless onboarding process, so we ask that all required credentials be uploaded five business days before your start date. This ensures a prompt and hassle-free integration into our remarkable team.
