3 positions 36 hours per week $105.00/hour rate The hours are straight nights every other weekend and holiday Job Description Summary   The NICU Respiratory Therapist assists with special projects, validations, and orientations. This position is responsible for having the knowledge and ability to train staff on all NICU equipment.   Job Description   Participates in new staff orientation and annual competency evaluations. Monitors employee validations to ensure completion. Participates in creating and reviewing policies and procedures. Participates in department performance improvement programs and adjusts staff assignments for other staff's participation. Provides staff development and improvement of clinical skills for clinical team. Assists with event/incident reporting for both patients and employee safety occurrences. Reports issues/malfunctions to appropriate departments. Functions as department supervisor in his/her absence.
