Position:   Pharmacy Technician  

Location:  Campo, CA, US - 91906

Duration:   Direct Hire    

Shift: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Pay Rate: $28/Hr

Job Requirements:

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program.

Certifications/Licenses Required:

• CA Board of Pharmacy Technician license.
• PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification preferred.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician.

Skills and Abilities:

• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish or English/Arabic) preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Medi-Cal Program is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of pharmacy automation machines including blister packs, robotics, and counting machines is a plus.

Equipment Used:

• Personal Computer.
• Pharmacy software programs.
• Parata Max 2.
• Kirby Lester counting machine.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
• Assist in the management of pharmacy inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Operate pharmacy automation machines for efficient medication dispensing.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.
