Exciting Career Opportunity: Physical Therapy Assistant

Location: Towson, MD

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient team in Towson, MD, for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a PTA and will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on continued therapy and exercises to improve the recovery process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment area.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Certifications: Valid PTA license in the state of Maryland.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in therapeutic techniques.

Additional Information:

• RTO (Requested Time Off): Cannot exceed 5 days during the contract period.
