Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical
Location: Waterloo, IA 50702
Pay Range: $50-56/hr
Shift: 19:00-07:30 (12-hour shifts)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team in Waterloo, IA. This is a 13-week contract position with a competitive pay rate of $50-56 per hour. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced medical/surgical environment and be committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting
- Monitor patient health and administer medications and treatments
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical/surgical setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (provided if needed)
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle high-stress situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work the night shift (19:00-07:30) and commit to a 36-hour workweek
