Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential patient care in a hospital or long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a passion for providing high-quality, patient-focused care. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist in transferring patients to different areas of the facility and help with positioning.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff.
- Assist with feeding patients and ensure they receive the necessary nutrition.
- Provide comfort and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and common areas.
- Assist with basic medical procedures under the direction of registered nurses or physicians.
- Document patient care and updates in the electronic health record system.
Experience
- Previous experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting (hospital, long-term care, or similar) preferred.
- Experience in providing care for elderly, disabled, or chronically ill patients a plus.
- Strong clinical and patient care skills, with a dedication to providing compassionate care.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in Washington State (WA).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Travel Housing Rate
For travel CNAs, housing costs in the Silverdale, WA area generally range from $1,800 to $2,500 per month for shared apartments or houses. We provide travel stipends and assistance with housing arrangements.
