Job Description: Physical Therapist

Location: Aiken, SC 29803

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days

Hourly Pay on W2: $48 to $52

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in Aiken, SC, for a 13-week assignment. This role is integral to providing top-notch rehabilitative care to patients, helping them recover and improve their physical abilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, compassion, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify functional capabilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and appropriate modalities.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and adaptive techniques to enhance the patient’s independence and safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, case conferences, and continuing education activities to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in South Carolina.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Proven experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • CPR certification and other relevant certifications as required.
