Job Description
Exciting Job Opportunity: Mobile Sonographer (General and Vascular) – Full-time, Permanent
Location: Boston, MA
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Hourly Rate: $34.00 - $40.00
Annual Salary: $70,720 - $83,200 (based on a 40-hour workweek)
Relocation Assistance: Potential, discussed at interview
State Licensure Reimbursement: Available after 90 days of employment
Are you a skilled Sonographer looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? Join our team and provide mobile ultrasound services in a variety of settings such as nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing sites. This unique role allows you to make a difference in patients' lives while traveling throughout the Boston area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver mobile ultrasound services, including general and vascular imaging.
- Travel to various healthcare facilities using company-provided transportation.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of ultrasound studies.
- Maintain high standards of patient care, communication, and safety.
Qualifications:
- Must be registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound (RVT, RVS, or R.T.(VS)).
- Dual modality experience is a plus.
- COVID-19 vaccination required (or proper documentation for exemption).
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
- Maintain required certifications, licenses, and operational compliance.
- Valid driver’s license required, with periodic checks conducted.
Certification Requirements:
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
- CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) – RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
