Job Description:

United Healthcare System is seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in Crescent City, CA 95531. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the health and well-being of employees within various occupational settings. If you are a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for occupational health and safety, we invite you to apply.

Role and responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Triage:

* Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of inmates' health status.

* Provide routine and emergency medical care, including administering medications, treatments, and wound care.

• Assist with daily living activities and personal hygiene for inmates with special needs.

• Respond to medical emergencies, providing first aid, CPR, and other urgent care as needed.

• Stabilize patients and coordinate transport to external healthcare facilities if necessary.

Licensing Requirements:

•  Pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).

• Undergo an extensive background check and obtain security clearance required by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR).

Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
