Speech Therapist - Inpatient Rehab Therapies
Job Description
The Speech Therapist is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment upon physician referral to a patient population consisting of varying diagnosis. The Speech Therapist will assess, identify and treat all areas of deficits impacting communication, cognition and swallowing. The Speech Therapist provides instruction and education to the patient/caregiver to promote the safe execution of the facilitatory techniques taught. Must Have: - Current Speech Pathologist license from the State of California Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology - Current Certificate of Clinical Competency by the American Speech, language, Hearing Association - Current CPR recognition - One year experience in acute care, extended care, rehabilitation, mental health or outpatient setting preffered.
Shift: Day shift: 8:00am start time, 8-hour shifts.
