Job Title: Physical Therapist (Inpatient/Outpatient)
Location: Brattleboro, VT
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Days
Pay Rate: $41/hour - $45/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 URGENT POSITION
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Brattleboro, VT. This full-time position involves providing high-quality physical therapy services to both inpatient and outpatient populations. Our ideal candidate is motivated, patient-focused, and eager to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and Assess: Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for patients with various conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Treatment Planning: Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, function, and quality of life.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, home exercises, and strategies for continued care.
- Collaborative Care: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and changing needs.
- Equipment Management: Ensure proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment and supplies.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Vermont.
- Experience: Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred
