General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

•         Number of Beds – 23 OR suites

•         Number of Staff –  Approx 100

•         Type of staff:

o    Day Shift – 4 team leaders, 1 board runner, 3 PCT, 20ish nurses, 22ish tecs

o    Night Shift – 1 board runner, 2 teams (CTS and RN)

•         Patient Ratios –

•         Type of equipment – O-ARM, advanced microscopes

•         EMR -  Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

•          Active experience with complicated and complex CVOR cases.  Must include both first and second scrub roles. 

•         Candidates that have done bypass, ECMO

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

•          Congenital CV experience

•          Pediatric CV experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

•           CABG, Carotid Endarterectomy, Structural heart repair, Congenital defects (VSD, PFO)

•          

Best personality Fit:

•          Tough, strong willed, thick skin. 

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

•         CST – National certification

•         Main OR

Dress Code:

•         Scrub Color/Attire -  Provided (Blue)

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

•          

Weekends and On call(if any)

•         Will rotate call requirements with regular staff members.  Divided equally among the group.
