Occupational Therapist (OT) Position in Pontiac, MI

• Hourly Pay Rate: $45/hr
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Contract Duration: 3 Months
• Certifications Required: BLS by AHA (Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association)
• Minimum Experience: 1 year

Job Description: An Occupational Therapist (OT) helps patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. This includes providing therapy and adaptive tools to aid patients in regaining independence.

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work the specified shift of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy to improve patients' daily living and working skills.
• Educate patients and their families on coping strategies and adaptive tools.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
