Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Assist patients with exercises, activities, and interventions to improve daily functioning and enhance independence.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed and collaborating with the therapy team.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, techniques, and strategies to support recovery and independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress, and outcomes in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to the comprehensive care of patients.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of California.
• Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred, but not required.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy.
