Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Bismarck, ND

Experience Required: 2+ years

Shift: Day Shift (12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $55 - $61 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU for a 13-week contract in Bismarck, ND. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and be comfortable working day shifts in a high-acuity environment. Provide critical care nursing to patients with life-threatening conditions

Continuously monitor vital signs, ventilators, and critical care equipment

Administer medications, IV infusions, and advanced treatments as prescribed

Respond quickly to medical emergencies and changes in patient conditions

Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR)

Educate and support patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery plans

Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards

License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota or compact state eligibility

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required

Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Certification – Preferred

Skills: Proficiency in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency interventions

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
