LPN - Home Health 

Location: Lima, OH

Job Type: 13 Weeks contract

Hourly Range: $35 to $40 an hour.

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Start Date: 6/24/2024

Job Description:

• Functioning within the Health System’s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures. The LPN functions as a partner to the Registered Nurse with the goal of providing quality patient care. The LPN responsibilities include collecting data, implementing and evaluating nursing care.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file
• Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding and dressing
• Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
• Update patient records in a confidential manner
• Evaluate the patient’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff
• Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
• Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly
• Move patients from wheelchairs, beds and gurneys.

Requirements:

• 3+ Years of HH Experience - Required
• BLS (AHA) - Required
