Exciting Job Opportunity: Paramedic Technician (Full-Time, Permanent) in Norman, OK

Are you an experienced Paramedic Technician looking for a fulfilling career? Join our dedicated team in Norman, OK, and make a difference in emergency care! This full-time, permanent position requires a commitment of at least 10 (24-hour) shifts per month and offers a competitive salary range of $15.46 to $25.24 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical emergency medical care and transportation to patients in pre-hospital settings.
  • Respond to 911 calls and other emergencies, delivering high-quality medical interventions.
  • Ensure patient safety during transport and follow all protocols for advanced life support.

Qualifications:

  • Oklahoma Paramedic License (required).
  • Completion of the DOT curriculum paramedic program approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Health, with eligibility to sit for State and National Registry exams for EMT licensure.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • NO EMT candidates will be considered.

Certification Requirements:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
  • Pediatric Education for Pre-hospital Professionals (PEPP) training (must be completed within 9 months of hire).
