Job Description
Licensed Vocational Nurse - Medical/Surgical (LVN Med/Surg) Location: Los Angeles, CA
Contract Length: 56 days
Pay Rate: $30-35/hr
Shift: 07:00-19:30
Qualifications: BLS certification required
Are you a dedicated LVN looking for a short-term contract role? Join our healthcare team in Los Angeles, CA, and provide exceptional care to patients in our Medical/Surgical unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit.
- Assist with patient assessments, administer medications, and perform treatments.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure patient safety and provide support to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Active state Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License; required.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current; required.
- Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in a Med/Surg setting; preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule:
- Day shift, 07:00-19:30.
- 56-day contract.
