CENTRAL STERILE PROCESSING TECHNOLOGIST III CSPT EXPERIENCED ONLY - 8 -10 YEARS+ OF SOLID WORK EXPERIENCE AS CSPT NOT FROM TRAVEL, SO PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT SOMEONE WITH ANYTHING LESS THAN THAT AS THE SUBMISSION WILL BE DECLINED MUST HAVE SOLID LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE NOT ACCEPTING NEW GRADS, SO PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT TO THIS ORDER MUST HAVE ACTIVE CRCST OR CSPDT LICENSURE ONLY MUST BE ABLE TO RELOCATE WITHIN 3-4 WEEKS OF ACCEPTING OFFER - NO EXCEPTIONS Work Responsibilities: Decontamination, Tray assembly, decontamination and sterilization and stocking of instrumentation and supplies. Mandatory Qualifications: CRCST or CSPDT Certification - Active 8 plus years of experience. National Sterile Processing Certification. Knowledge of AAMI standards. Must complete 5 trays/hour. Ability to work independently. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: 8-10 years sterile processing experience in a Level I Trauma Center Education: High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam. CRCST or CSPDT active certification. Possess one of the following: Medical instrument processing experience with one year of Central Service hospital experience. Graduate of an accredited sterile processing program with a C or better average. Medical instrument processing experience and currently enrolled as a student in an accredited sterile processing program with a C or better average. Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Ability to push/pull 350 pounds. Ability to lift 35 pounds. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Requires some exposure to chemicals. Shift: 40 hours weekly Available shifts: Night (11pm-7:30am) Evening (3pm-11:30pm) Rotating (7am-3:30p, 3pm-11:30pm) These positions will be rotating weekends and overtime as needed.
