Job Description: CT Tech, MRI Tech

Location: Lima, OH 45804

Position Type: Full-Time

Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Salary: Minimum $28.48/hour (dependent upon experience)

Shift Differentials:

  • Nights (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM): $4.00/hour
  • Evenings (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM): $1.50/hour
  • Weekends: $2.00/hour

Sign-On Bonus:

  • $15,000 (requires a 2-year commitment)

Position Summary: We are urgently seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Tech/MRI Tech to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CT and MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal structures. This position requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
  • Position patients and equipment to capture the required images.
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Adjust equipment settings as necessary to obtain optimal images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to interpret images.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment.
  • Stay current with advancements in CT and MRI technology and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT and/or MRI.
  • State licensure as required.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience as a CT Tech/MRI Tech (specific years based on employer's requirement).
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work the specified shift and commitment to a 2-year tenure.
