Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Description

Position: Cardiac PCU Registered Nurse

Location: Frankfort, KY 40601

Pay scale: $73 per hour

Shift: Nights

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Monitor and assess cardiac patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
• Perform cardiac monitoring, interpret EKGs, and respond to changes in patients' conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on cardiac health management and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

   

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Experience in Cardiac Progressive Care or similar unit.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• COVID Vaccination/ Valid CPR/ Health Documents/ License/ Physical
