Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory/GI Unit

Location: San Bernardino, CA 92411

Start Date: 05/21/2025

Duration: 13 Weeks

Weekly Gross Pay: $2,830/week - Travel $2400- LOCALS

Shift: Days | 8-hour shifts (0800-1630) with rotational call

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Unit Information:

• Unit Type: Ambulatory/GI (Hybrid Ambulatory Care Center)
• Beds: 5
• Care Setting: Acute
• Charting System: Cerner Power Chart - Surginet

Requirements:

• License: Active RN License
• Experience: Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Moderate Sedation

Key Details:

• Start Date: Must start on 05/21/2025 (no flexibility)
• Common Procedures: GI pre/post care, moderate sedation, ERCP, upper and lower GI procedures, blood transfusions, PEG tubes, special procedures like paracentesis
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 for general care, 3:1 for Phase 2 recovery
• Shifts: 8-hour shifts; must be flexible to work between 5:30 AM – 7:00 PM based on case load
• Call Requirements:
• Weekday call (2:30 PM – 5:30 AM, variable based on need)
• Weekend call (48 hours, once per month typically)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (could vary)
• Scrubs: Provided
• Floating: To ambulatory care and GI units as needed

Additional Information:

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Moderate sedation experience required (minimum 1 year)
• ERCP experience preferred but not mandatory
• Fast-paced unit with pre-op, PACU, admission testing responsibilities
