Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

Location: Wooster, OH 44691

Duration: 13 Weeks, TEMP TO PERM

Shift:

• Days: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Compensation:

• Hourly Pay on W2: $20 to $25

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Wooster, OH. This TEMP TO PERM position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on individuals struggling with mental health and addiction issues. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide counseling and support to help clients manage their mental health conditions and improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
• Assess clients' mental health status and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and support.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies.
• Ensure all therapeutic activities comply with ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Counseling Psychology (LPS) or a related field. Required.
• Master's degree or better in Social Work. Required.
• Strong understanding of addiction and mental illness.
• Ability to form effective working and therapeutic relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
